Members take note – our July General Meeting, usually slated for the 1st Friday of the month, has been moved to Friday, July 15th at 7:30 PM in the Depot. We had a great time representing the San Leandro Historical Railway Society at the 107th San Leandro Cherry Festival on June 4th! No joke – we owe a huge thanks to the San Leandro City Council! On March 7th at the City Council meeting, Mayor Pauline Russo Cutter presented members of the San Leandro Historical Railway Society with a ceremonial check (and yes, an actual check too!) for $6,000 to make up the balance of our Paint Fund to get the Depot re-painted.
