Ed Van Pelt Train Tribute

We are sad to announce that in August, we lost one of our long-time members Ed Van Pelt to cancer.  The SLHRS is celebrating his passion for trains with a Train Tribute for him on November 8, 2015.  G and O gauge trains will be run from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM in Ed\’s honor, with a BBQ lunch of hamburgers and hot dogs starting around 1:00 PM.  Donations to cover food costs are welcome. First day of the June Show

Today was a success as the first day of the June show. We had a fair amount of interest in the items available in our yard sale. Due to popular demand we will also be running the yard sale on Sunday. We will have many trains running, come down and see us.
