Dine at Famous Dave\’s March 28th to Benefit the SLHRS!

We\’re excited to announce our first Dining 4 Dollars Event to benefit the San Leandro Historical Railway Society!  On March 28th, from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm, if you bring this flyer in to the Famous Dave\’s BBQ restaurant at Southland Mall in Hayward, they will donate 20% of your bill (excluding tax, tip, & alcohol) to the Society!  Famous Dave\’s has great BBQ and is a terrific place to take the family.  Their Feast is a fun family-style dinner served whimsically on a trash can lid and they have fantastic banana pudding for dessert!  Bring your family, bring your friends, and tell EVERYBODY!  The more folks come on down and show this flyer when having dinner, the more we can raise for the painting fund.

As you\’ll remember, we\’re raising funds to professionally paint our 116-year-old Southern Pacific Depot and have the lead paint abated.  We\’ve received estimates and still have a rather long way to go to raise all the money needed to get the job done.  We\’d greatly appreciate the help of all the friends of the San Leandro Historical Railway Society to dine at Famous Dave\’s on March 28th and share our flyer with your friends and family in the area to help our cause!
