Eventful Saturday

Posted on September 3, 2011 by DominicF

This Saturday was an eventful day down at the depot.  On the HO scale display more scenery work was done in the Selby/Oleum area of the layout.  Several members were running trains today, including a very nice model of the California Zephyr and of the Empire Builder.  These trains were joined by a passenger consist from the Denver and Rio Grande Western, the beer train, and a couple of freights.  Upstairs a couple members were busy building new turnouts for use in the upcoming revamp of the Sparks yard.

Outside on the G&O we saw a commuter unit running on the O scale track while a couple of members worked to align some track on the back of the display.
