We are pleased to announce that on Tuesday 5/26/15, the Contractor hired by the City of San Leandro to make repairs to the Depot delivered and installed the Scaffolding necessary to complete the repairs.
As you may recall our Depot was damaged on 12/30/14, when a tree was blown down during a wind storm.
We are finally make progress toward getting our home made whole again.
The Contractor has met with G&O representatives and following their instruction, erected the scaffolding and covered portions of the layout in a manner so as to mitigate any possible damage and, to make it possible to continue running trains.
When in this area, please be aware of your surroundings and careful so as to avoid any and all accidents. We need to remain safe as this is now a construction area.
Finally, I would like to thank all of the members you have volunteered and helped with getting us to this important point in the Depot repair.
