Tuesday evening and a lot of work on the O scale.

Posted on May 9, 2012 by DominicF

On Tuesday we had several trains running, with both diesel and steam being featured.  An interesting comparison of two different manufacturers versions of the Union Pacific heritage units went on for a while at the setup yard.

Pink trees…actually model cherry trees are in the process of being added into the San Leandro area of the HO scale display.

In the backyard on the G&O work has been going on at a furious pace, installing track on the O scale portion of the display.  The bridge over the waterfall is in place, in its temporary form.  It is exiting to see the plan turn into the reality!!!  Can’t wait to see trains operating on this portion of the display.

Make sure to come see us for the June open house, Saturday June 2 and Sunday June 3.
