Lots of HO scale trains and more Oleum scenery

Posted on September 7, 2011 by DominicF

Tuesday evening saw many of the members running their HO scale trains.  One of the freights being run was the longest that I have ever seen on the layout, with 70+ cars (if I remember correctly).  Unfortunately this train did not make it up the large helix, and had two different break-aways.

I ran my entire Denver and Rio Grande Western passenger train, although I had to borrow some power from the SP (my MT-4) in order to pull the entire train.

After running my train I spent the rest of the evening continuing to work on the scenery in the Oleum area.  I am still working on the ground cover near the track, and adding static grass and shrubbery.
