Work has been continuing at a feverish pace in the area of the HO display representing San Leandro. The building representing the Del Monte fruit packing plant have been installed with only detailing and lighting left to complete. Tuesday was a pretty laid back day down at the depot. Early in the day some work was done on the G&O display, but the HO display had several members running trains in the evening.
Overall it went pretty well, although a couple members had issues with cars derailing. My problems were caused mostly from running a very long train (37 cars in length). Another derailment was caused by a...

An ops session was scheduled for tonight but unfortunately it was not to be. After figuring out all of the problems with the various locomotives it was too late to actually run. Instead the members just ran their trains as they preferred.
We will give it another try next month.

Saturday was an eventful day down at the depot with members both working and running trains on the G&O and also on the HO scale displays.
Of interest on the O gauge portion of the G&O was the successful running of an antique tin train with several coaches.
